INSITU

INSITU, a social and environmental working group, helps neighbors organize in their buildings. For them we designed ¿Qué es un consorcio? (What is an owners' association?), a free course in five short levels, built on the illustrated world of their video.

The first level is fully playable. It opens with Mirta, the building manager, knocking on Claudio's door about the roof repair. Then there is a cutaway building to explore, where you decide which parts are shared and which are private under Argentina's Civil and Commercial Code, and a dialogue where you have to convince Claudio with arguments. It closes with a quiz.

To make learning feel like playing, every right answer earns points, there are streaks, a badge for each level and a closing screen to share the achievement. It is a prototype that runs in the browser, on desktop and mobile, and saves each person's progress. Animated characters in Rive will come in a later version.
